Cold Weekend

Daddy made it home tonight after, what seems like, a long weekend away. In actuality, he was only gone for two nights but it always seems longer. We managed to stay enertained with the confines of our warm home. Seems like the coldest days this winter have been this week. My sweet friend lost her 3-year-old little girl after a two year battle to cancer, one week ago today. No one can possibly imagine what that must be like. Our prayers, Britton’s too, are with their family. She has taught me to enjoy every moment with my little ones. Every moment.

“And whoever welcomes a little child like this in my name welcomes me. But if anyone causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him to have a large millstone hung around his neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea. ” -Matthew 18:5-6
