Big Daddy serves on the (working) board as Treasurer for our local Ronald McDonald house.
The RMH serves as a”home away from home” for the families of pediatric patients being treated at area hospitals and medical facilities. In 1989, our local Ronald McDonald House opened its doors. The majority of families who stay at the House live more than ten miles away and have children being treated at local area hospitals.
The event was held at a local plantation- with tents, fresh and already cracked stone crab, raffle items, open bar, homemade banana pudding, and many silent auction items.
Last night, the RMH hosted a stone crab festival for the community. They were able to sell enough tickets, and raise enough money to support the RMH operating budget for the coming year!
Not only was it for a cause that is near and dear to our hearts, but it was also a lot of FUN!
