Clothes, Clothes and More Clothes

B modeling her wise owl shirt, along with her animal Bandz which are the “thing” in 1st grade.
She made an E++ on her spelling test this week and was rewarded with her bracelets.

I’m back on the wagon again- the sewing wagon that is. This week the Sew Fun Girls gang learned applique. So easy, who knew?
I’m trying to complete a couple of oh-my-gosh-so-dang-cute tops for the girls this weekend. My ideal Saturday night- putting the girls down to bed (after a long day of musical practice, soccer games, swimming, playing outside, painting, swinging)- and going straight to my Bernina.  I would even wager to say that an ideal week would be one to myself, devoted to 100% non-interrupted sewing. Ahh, it would be nice but then I would miss everything in between…..

I’m not sure.. Laura Burleson joined and she is real experienced… we talked about doing the Bella top (I have the pattern) if someone can help with the capped sleeves.

I just realized that the fabric I recently used for pants, is the same one you used for the pants you made at our class. My aunt gave it to my for my Birthday and I made a pair for Kenley and a pair for Hayley… great minds think alike!
