My baby’s Daddy scored big points on Sunday when he made an impromptu trip to Home Depot to purchase the perfect tree swing for our backyard. You would have thought he had built the Taj Mahal in our little piece of the world.
This may be one of favorite, more recent photos. A happy child swinging with her hands-on Daddy overlooking.
The ham hawk, of course, is a slightly more timid on her new swing. One must be close by to stop her should she swing faster than 5 mph.
Aunt Shea sent us precious Halloween hair bows – thank you Aunt Shea! Kenley refers to her orange and black bow as “a pile of Fall” on her hair- so her teachers said. Love that the holidays are now on the horizon, with intermittent cool weather filling the mornings- I am embarrassed to say I even bought Christmas place mats. They were so darn cute it would have been a sin to pass them by. That being said, I am still fully enjoying Halloween…. and our ‘Countdown to Halloween’ calendar hanging on our kitchen door. There are only about 5 more minutes of my children being children and loving things such as these.
Britty knows I am a sucker for this classic piece- it was played at my parents wedding, and ours!
And this…. is how K rolls in in the afternoons.
Lounging Snacking away while listening to B practice.
Mike walked in to find the girls brushing their hair while watching ‘Barbie and a Fashion Fairytale’ last night. He even snapped a photo with my new boyfriend.
She finally fessed up to Mama that the reason she wants to be a “go home friend” every day at school, is because she does not like rest time. This made her extra thrilled when she came home from school early to bake organic slice and bake chochlate chip cookies with me this week.
And showed me some new moves on her big girl bike…
I’ll need to bring B home from school just so I can snap more pix of her!
