Comfort

As I was tucking Britton into bed last night, I shared with her a little bit of what I learned at my Bible Study that morning.

I am in the midst of styding Beth Moore’s Breaking Free , she said she always says, “I love you too” to God (not just “I love you”), because God always loves us first. I went on to tell Britton that any time she wakes up in the middle of the night, say to potty, Jesus is thinking about her. When she wakes up in the morning, or when she is taking a test- Jesus is thinking about her. He thinks about you all the time Britton.

Britton responded by saying, “ya, you can talk to Jesus anytime you want. Sometimes when I get nervous when I am taking a spelling test, I just talk to Him. I mean, he doesn’t make me do better on the test, but He just calms me down.”

I’d say this child is leaps and bounds ahead of many adults I know.

I love you too.
