It Takes a Village

One child is playing the Wii, another watching a Harry Potter DVD on the laptop, Little Bit is sleeping in his crib for the first time, and I got a pot roast in the oven.

I’m keeping my fingers crossed that it lasts.

It certainly does take a village to raise a child.

Aunts, Uncles, Grandparents, dear friends, and everyone in between.

Uncle Casey reading Kenley a bedtime story
Aunt Muffy, Kenley’s Godmother, flew in from Washington state.
Aunt Shea, Kenley’s other Godmother came over for a good squeeze.
Aunt Coco has all but raised this one- her Goddaughter.

Big sister holding our boy while Mama gets dinner ready

Aunt Britty reminding me of ‘Tummy Time’

Aunt G giving him a nightly bath in his new tub

And of course, the Village Chief.

Where would I be without them?
