There are days when having three children kicks my butt. Yesterday was one of those days. I didn’t shower until 8:00 pm, having worn gym clothes all day despite having never actually gone to the gym. I managed to scream at all three of my kids at some point, and the girls weren’t even home until 3:15 and Raynes was with a sitter for three hours. How is that for mothering?
At 50 weeks old he now had 7 teeth (4 on top and three on the bottom)
Raynes is officially walking now and I am already missing the days where he laid on his back and stared at nothing. He is into everything. I used to secretly laugh when I saw Moms trying to change their baby’s diaper while the baby was standing up. Who does that? Uh hum… 9 times out of 10 I have to stand Raynes up in front of his window, distract him by knocking on it for Tucker and quickly change him before he knows the better.
I find that the body hold works well for the more challenging diapers…. And today, I took down the girl’s art work hanging above his changing table because, well because he is a boy and dang these boys are into everything. Don’t even get me started on my tacky sun room.
I decided that a warm shower and cold Mic Ultra would do wonders- I even blow dried my hair, which is a rarity. It took me a minute to remember how to work the dang thing. I forgot how good it feels to have “fixed” my hair, spending more than 1 minute putting gel on a wet head. Who knows, I may take it a step further and wear something other than a $5 Old Navy tank top and flip flops today. But I can’t make any promises.
When Kenley found out that Sassy was on her way to tpick her up and take her to Goodwill for book shopping.
