Apparently, both my girls have the entrepreneurial gene. Kenley, and her friend, wanted to have a sale in the front yard of “things” recently. The monies raised, Kenley said, would be donated and split between the local Homeless Shelter and Ronald McDonald house. How could I say no to that?
Among their things- a torn paperback book, a Barbie with a mis-matched outfit, yarn and a flower.
Luckily, a neighbor took pity on them and stopped. After browsing quickly at their lovely selection, she gave them a $5 donation and left without any of their special things.
