Keeping their word, both Mike and Britton have been running in the evenings. We explained to Britton that she has to partake (I just love that word) in some type of cardiovascular exercise, several times a week.  While she was adamant that ballet class, one hour a week, met this requirement, we explained to her that she would have to rejoin the swim team or commit to running three times a week with her Dad. The laces were tightened and off they went.

Mike enjoys their runs because it gives them quality time together and an opportunity to talk. As our girls get older the benefits of this will increase tenfold- stamina, confidence, quality time, dependability, strength and determination. Good job guys (and gals)!
