31 Days of Joy Simply | Day 1: Snap It

This is Day 1 of a 31 day  series of finding Joy Simply.  You can read each post from the series by starting HERE

This little joy one is a no-brainer. It’s like oxygen or food.  I cannot imagine not having a camera, any camera. It’s an affliction, a disease- the need to capture and document- ever since I was a little girl. It started with a ‘Le Clic’ royal blue camera with the 110 cartridge film. Wow, how I loved that little camera. I’d snap photos of my friends, Puddles my tiny black poodle, landscapes, my yellow and blue flowered bedroom. Anything and everything I wanted to fit perfectly into my camera frame and snap it.  That joy continues today.

A picture really is worth a thousands words, which may explain why we have very little video of our children, but 2,086 photos every year.

I know I said there was to be no writing about my children for 31 days – and I’m not. Well, at least not technically. These are just a few snippets of my favorite moments with a camera in hand which results in Joy Simply.
The baby.

Middle child syndrome? Maybe.
