31 Days of Joy Simply | Day 22: Momentary Hallelujah

This post is day 22 of a 31 days series on finding Joy Simply. You can read all the posts from the series by clicking HERE.

After a night with a husband tossing and turning, a sick child waking me up, a healthy child waking up, 7:45 a.m. violin lessons, a Havanese who takes up 1/3 of our queen size bed, followed by 8:30 a.m. flu shots at the pediatrician’s office… this was a joyful sight.

Even if he is watching Tinkerbell

He never watches television at home. As a Mama who is constantly steering her children towards meaningful literature, creative crafts and imaginative games, I cannot tell a lie- I am elated that my now two year old can sit still for more than 5 minutes. I may even go so far so to say that this is the most {needed} joy I’ve had in the past 22 days.  Joy Simply in its truest form, folks.

* Edited to add- by the time I published this post he was back to stacking blocks and pushing trucks. But a girl can hope.
