Wonderfully Caring

When the coffee maker is set for 5:00 am and I wake up an hour earlier and am now listening to it brew… it’s going to make for a long day.

Raynes will be home from preschool for a third day (his Christmas break also starts today) and Britton leaves for an out-of-town field trip at 6:45 a.m.  Thankfully my body feels about 100% after recovering from minor surgery earlier this week.

I am happy to have these words to start my {long} day:

“Because the world is in an abnormal, fallen condition, people tend to think that chance governs the universe.  Events may seem to occur randomly, with little or no meaning.  People who view the world this way have overlooked one basic fact: the limitations of human understanding.

[it goes on to say] If you could only see how close I am to you and how constantly I work on your behalf, you would never again doubt that I am wonderfully caring for you.” -Jesus Calling: Enjoying Peace In His Presence by Sarah Young
