The Robinson boys have found their shared interest. Baseball.
Raynes loves to hit his big white ball off the tee, while Tucker plays the part of the background cheerleader.
This, too, has become part of their father son evening ritual.
He watches that ball and takes his swing….
Then closes his eyes as soon as the connection makes a loud “thunk” noise!
It’s the same sound we hear in the evenings. Thunk. Daddy clapping.
Thunk. Daddy clapping.
Sounds more like the theme of life to me. Children putting forth effort, and parents there to provide tweaks to their efforts,, concluding with a loud sound of approval.
I can almost see the confidence soar when I feed my children with positive reinforcement.
I do love these boys of mine, what can I say?
There is no sport I would rather watch than baseball. The spring weather for the season is always an added plus. Take me out to the ball game!
