It’s a beautiful day in the neighborhood
Appropriately, on the first week of Fall we felt some Fall weather. I love it when a plan comes together. Before they even walked inside the house yesterday backpacks were dropped on the garage floor in exchange for bicycles and riding toys. And who could blame them? Us Southerners know when to take advantage of some good weather- we’re wise like that.
Kenley has settled into third grade and has resumed tennis lessons making her weeks full of play, homework, tennis and lots of free time. Maybe she should help her Sassy write her screenplay for the book, Far Outside the Ordinary.

Raynes has a third birthday coming up- and Mama has yet to find a way to incorporate tractors in a safe (and attainable) way. Poor guy- he may end up with a birthday party consisting of two older sisters and two barking dogs. And that’s okay too.
‘Doughnuts for Dads’ was last week and can I just say, Kenley has her faux smile down pat!
