A boxed up life

I have probably 30, used, brown packed boxes floating around the house- with words like family room and Allie Boone’s room having been replaced with Raynes’ room.

There has been zero exercise this week, and am not proud to admit that I just fed my kids a carb filled meal complete with butter and salt (okay, the real truth is Raynes hasn’t eaten a vegetable in over three weeks). And while I can’t say for certain, I’m pretty sure the bottom of my feet are black not because I walked to the mailbox but because I haven’t mopped the floors in days. All in all, we’re just living the dream over here.

Ironically, these ‘day in the life of us’ photos were on my computer. Amazing how quickly a mess can build in a home with 5 people living there. Throw in the two dogs and all bets are off. The plant in the foreground is all but dead and every one of his cups are boxed and nowhere to be found. Hope he’s not thirsty in the 120 degree days we’ve been having…..

It’s a boxed up life…. and he seems to be the only one in the family enjoying it.

News on our end– our home sweet home has a contract pending and we are packing up to move out in the next 25 days. Cue the wine.
