Fireworks

The Fourth of July was spent with simple activities for our crew. Nothing fancy. A little boating, a little firework-ing. Just us and The Littles.   Our adventure girl in the foreground. For someone that doesn’t like a choppy ride, she sure is quick to put on those flippers and jump in the water once we anchor.

We were hoping for some scallops but ended up with salty skin and a cooler full of Gatorade.  Such is life.

We finished off the holiday by jumping in the car at 9:28 p.m. and quickly driving to a nearby neighborhood to catch the grand finale of their firework show.

By setting their expectations low, our kids are usually easily pleased.

Blurry and out of focus- this is my favorite pix of the day. The littles sticking heads out of the sunroof watching the loud and bright fire in the sky. Hope you had a happy fourth too!
