Our Disorganized but Fun Nonetheless Halloween

The old, somewhat organized Garrett would have had dinner ready when friends arrived for trick or treating. She probably would have had coordinated Halloween plates and most definitely would have had the adult beverages chilled and waiting in the polaris to follow around our little trick or treat-ers. This year, friends were told to eat first, and when they arrived we were not even in costume yet and still scarfing down drive through Zaxby’s so we could get the show on the road.

Oldest Robinson went off with the rest of her emoji-dressed friends. The first Halloween she has ToT’d with her friends and not her Mommy. Tear.

Ironically, none of this is really necessary as the outcome is still the same. Fun (plus candy!).

It was the first time trick or treating in our new neighborhood and while the “loop” ended up being longer with our brood, it made for heavy candy-filled bags and pails.

The evening is not complete until Mr. Robinson breaks out his drone. Why he flies this thing indoors is beyond me.

Since today is Electronic Free Sunday I have to sign off before Britton gives me any more grief for being on the computer.  My goals for the week? Church, vitamins, meals planned and lots of water. A good place to start. With the extra hour of sleep today I feel like anything is possible!
