Happy New Year, 2016
The the arrival of rain and cold weather on New Year’s Eve, I took it upon myself to buy some fixing’s for a yummy supper- salmon, broccoli, baguettes, celebratory cupcakes and a nice bottle of champagne. Instead, my crew opted for frozen waffles to ring in the New Year. Mr. R and I thought we would have our own celebration splitting both a bottle of wine and champagne. Which probably explains why I went to bed at 2 am and woke up at 5 am. Something in red wine makes me bug eyed before the sun comes up. But that’s okay, it’s a new year, new day, new resolutions. So long 2015, you were good to us!
Raynes will miss the daily UPS deliveries, and I will miss 2015…. but looking forward to what 2016 will bring.
